Ken’s Kids Events
Usually people book by phone or
email.
Ken may ask people who book by
phone to email the details, this is to
ensure that the information is correct
and to avoid errors on the phone.
The basic details Ken needs in order
to issue an invoice and confirm a
booking are as follows:

Name and Address of the
person who is to be sent the
invoice.
•
The address of the venue,
preferably with a postcode as
Ken uses “Sat Nav” to get to
events.
•
The date of the event
•
The time Ken may arrive to set
up: it takes up to an hour for
Ken to unload his vehicle and
set up the equipment.
•
The time Ken will be performing
•
The agreed fee for the booking.

bookings. Contact Ken for a quote.
Most of this will have been discussed
with Ken at the time of the enquiry.
Ken will usually issue an invoice
within 48 hours.
If you haven’t received an invoice
within 7 days, please assume
something has gone wrong and get
in touch with Ken.
When you receive the invoice,
please check it to make sure all the
information is correct.
If a customer books a date but without
being able to provide the necessary
information for Ken to issue an
invoice, Ken will keep the booking
open for 48 hours. If he doesn’t hear
from the customer within that time,
then the booking will be cancelled. It
may just be that the information still
isn’t available, and that is fine, but
Ken needs to be kept informed if he is
to keep the booking open for you.
When to Pay
Most people pay on the day by cash
or cheque. However, people may
send a cheque prior to the event if
they wish. Payment details will be on
your invoice.
What if Ken is ill or is no longer
available?
Ken is a sole trader and so if he is
unable to be with you for the above
reasons then there is nothing he can
do about it. There is no compensation
available, though any money paid in
advance will be refunded.
Ken has set up an emergency list
containing work to be completed. In
the event that Ken is too ill to work or
no longer available, arrangements
have been made for the people on the
list to be contacted so that they can
make other arrangements.
