If the venue is small, the games and activities will be adapted to suit the setting.  If the party is in a hall then larger games equipment may be used. For example, large floating air cubes, parachute, pedalgo bikes etc. Whether the venue is large or small, traditional party games are included but adapted to make sure that all the children are involved all of the time; they are not left watching the quickest children have all the fun. A typical programme will last two hours Ken will provide 90 minutes of entertainment with: • Puppet Theatre • Kids fun action songs with the guitar • Games - to make the party buzz. • Balloon modelling • Magic Tricks You then take over to provide the party food and party bags, Ken doesn't provide catering.  Ken is an entertainer and puppeteer, he doesn’t do clowning. Ken also makes use of a projector and computer.  As well as using this equipment for a party game, he is usually able to project pictures of the birthday child as a looped slide show during the party.  He has different size screens to suit different venues. Flexible Ken is able to provide a wide range of activities.  Note: large pieces of equipment can only be used where there is room to play with them.  It is unlikely the cubes and parachute can be used in a pub, social club or small room. Ken can provide laminated party name badges for each child.  These include a picture of one of Ken's puppets or a picture of your child. Best Practice Please note, Ken asks not to be left alone with the children.  The organisers remain responsible for the behaviour and care needs of the children.  Ken needs to be free to entertain. Please note: If you also have a bouncy castle at the party, this must be turned off when Ken is entertaining.  It is difficult running an activity for children when something else is competing for their attention.  There is no point paying an entertainer and then providing something different for the children to do.   For a two hour party, there will be no need to have a bouncy castle as well as Ken. When people are organising a longer event and wish to have a bouncy castle, they turn the bouncy castle off for Ken, turning it on again when he has finished or when he is not performing.  Ken likes to build a good atmosphere at the party and have all the children joining in together.
